Boomerang Mirror

The problem: Mirror needed for bathroom. I hate working with mirrors. One wrong move and it is seven years of bad luck. The solution: I found an old art project mirror at Summer Shop. Moldy. Made from an antique window with only a few panes still in tact.

I liberated one pane. Added a boomerang that my brother Mark brought home from Australia--he lived there for a year in high school on Rotary Exchange. Bingo. Boomerang mirror.

Now that it will be much easier to shave my face, I can't help but wonder about the meaning of a boomerang mirror...

Hahaha, join the club! I love making mirrored art. It brings the viewer in it and the surroundings. Welcome to a new strange world!

(Especially with found things, giving them new “persona” in processs!)

Sooner or later you're going to come back to yourself?

What? You didn't have a mirror in your bathroom? How did I not notice?

I had a great mirror in the bathroom. Someone swiped it for the new place next door...
